Mission Water Project and the Flood the Nations team just finished up its 5th year in Honduras! We are so excited of the opportunity to impact people’s lives and provide them with safe, clean water.
This year we finished the village of Llamago by adding another 20 filters to the 15 we installed last year. This now means the entire village of Llamago is complete with 35 filters which provide 350 people with clean drinking, cooking, and personal hygiene water. The impact on clean water is huge! The families no longer have to choose between purchasing clean water or food or medicine.
An average Honduran family in the village makes only $4 a day! That is just $120 a month. By providing them with a Hydraid water filter we are freeing up funds to be used for school and food.
You can make the difference in the lives of a family in Honduras! Our next village is Ocotillo and it has 43 homes. Our team installed 10 filters as they are right next to Llamago. We would like to finish the 33 with our next team scheduled for March 2016. Can you help? Please donate by clicking the Donate button above. Thank you for your generous support.
