This year was was divide and expand. The last three years Scott & Paige Hogan with Life Church in Fort Collins, were a huge part in launching the Mission Water Project in Honduras. They helped with our first trip in Las Playas, brought their youth group to San Agustine the next year, and last year began the ground work for a long term water well project in San Agustine. They began that project in 2014 and will continue to do so through their church in the coming years.
This allowed Flood the Nations to expand in another part of Honduras, near La Entrada. One of the highest need areas for water filter sin the country. We began our partnership with Mauricio Ezra, who is the Director of Youth for Christ and our host for the region.
This year we were able to install filters in 3 villages. We finished Copante from 2013, started a new village Llamago, and were able to meet the requests of our very first village, Las Playas, to add 15 more filters.
